Test an ordinary trading day, not one successful invoice. Check product tax classes, discounts, returns, customer details, provider responses and end-of-day totals. At the till

Ask a cashier to scan an item, change quantity, apply a permitted discount, take payment and produce the customer document. Repeat with a buyer that needs a tax invoice. Watch for fields the cashier cannot reasonably collect during a queue.

At day close

Compare POS sales, payment records, provider-accepted documents and pending or rejected items. The manager needs a named person to clear exceptions before the next shift. A dashboard number without document references will not explain a mismatch.
